TECNO is deepening its roots in the Kenyan smartphone market with the official launch of the Spark 40 Pro series, now available for pre-order on Jumia Kenya. Leading the pack is the Spark 40 Pro+, which comes with exclusive discounts and freebies for early birds.
Between July 14 and July 20, you can pre-order the Spark 40 Pro+ on Jumia and get a KES 1,300 discount plus a free wireless power bank. Jumia has listed the device at KES 20,899 for the 128GB variant and KES 23,699 for the 256GB model. The regular Spark 40 is also available, starting at KES 12,499, but it’s not part of the current pre-order offer.
Interestingly, the Spark 40 Pro, although part of the same series, is not included in the Jumia pre-order. This is after a separate pre-order window was announced earlier through TECNO’s official retail channels.
TECNO Spark 40 Pro+ Specifications
The Spark 40 Pro+ is a balance of performance and premium features at an affordable price. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with slim bezels and curved edges for a modern look. The back has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, while the 13MP front-facing camera is for selfies and video calls.
It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 processor and 8GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and everyday use. Despite the features, the device is 6.49mm slim and 150g light making it perfect for portability.
One of the standout features is the 5,200mAh battery that supports 45W fast wired charging and 30W wireless charging—a rare feature in this price range. Wireless charging is activated using the magnetized phone case that comes with the phone, a unique but practical feature for budget users.
