Nakuru County’s health sector just got a fantastic boost! Brace yourselves, folks, because 1400 tablets have arrived to revolutionize disease surveillance and reporting. It’s like giving the healthcare system a high-tech makeover!

These sleek devices are a vital part of the Electronic Community Health Information System (eCHIS) Digitization Programme, and they’re here to bring efficiency and improvement to primary healthcare at level 1. We’re talking about a game-changer, people!

Rita Ochola, the Community Health Strategist, couldn’t contain her excitement as she received the first batch of 1400 tablets from the Ministry of Health. These tablets are dedicated to the amazing Community Health Promoters, formerly known as Community Health Volunteers (CHVs). It’s a tablet party, and everyone’s invited!

The second batch is on its way, my friends. Soon, a grand total of 3306 tablets will be rolling out, covering all our beloved CHVs. We can’t thank the Ministry of Health enough for providing the remaining 1906 tablets. They’re like the superheroes of digital healthcare!

This incredible delivery is just the beginning of a digital revolution in the healthcare system. It’s all about keeping up with the ever-evolving technological landscape, and Nakuru County is leading the way.

Get ready for some mind-blowing strategies, folks. We’re talking about early pregnancy detection like never before. Referrals for care? Check. And let’s not forget about the provision of family planning services by our amazing Community Health Volunteers. They’re the real heroes, making a difference at both the community and facility levels.

But it doesn’t stop there. We’re involving everyone in this journey to better health. Community leaders, like our National Government Administrative Officers and religious leaders, are joining forces to ensure access to quality and healthy lives for all. It’s a team effort, folks, and we’re in it together!
