We recently witnessed Samsung announce the availability of their A series smartphones for the Kenyan market. The lineup includes the entry-level A14 and goes all the way up to the A54 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 boasts a 6.6 inch FHD+ screen, which is powered by Android 13 and One UI Core 5, coupled with a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The RAM options start at 4GB and 6GB, with storage options ranging from 64GB to 128GB.

Galaxy A14 features a 13MP selfie camera in the notch and a 50MP triple setup that also includes a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. The camera comes with LED flash and supports HDR and panorama, while video recording is capped at 1080p 30fps for both the main and selfie cameras.

It comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast Type-C charging, and other features include a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a slot for microSD for expandable storage options.

The phone’s body features Gorilla Glass and a plastic back, with a weight of 201g, while the screen is flat, a 6.6″ FHD+ LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. The phone supports up to 1TB of SD card storage and has a headphone socket. It runs on Android 13 with OneUI 5.0, and is available in four colors: Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, Awesome White, and Awesome Silver.
